Due to continued growth we are now in the position to recruit for our next Marketing Assistant who, with hard work and dedication, will have potential to progress to an Account Manager role as part of our desired ‘promote from within’ policy.

You will work within one of our account handling teams. Marketing experience and/or relevant qualification would be an advantage although not essential as the selected candidate will receive full training, both on the job and via our bespoke Training Academy. However, the following attributes are a minimum requirement:

Strong organisation and time management skills
As the role is administrative based you will need to demonstrate good I.T. ability in addition to organisation and time management skills to deal with the daily and hourly deadlines that need to be met.

Accuracy and attention to detail
A minimum English and Maths qualification of G.C.S.E. grade C or above is a pre-requisite for applicants. As a large part of the role involves proof-reading of marketing communications we will be looking for evidence of your literacy and grammar skills within your application as part of the shortlisting criteria.

Communication skills 
The role involves daily telephone and email communication with our clients, suppliers and internal colleagues, so possessing confident and professional communication skills is a must to being successful and delivering value to our client base.

Initiative
You will need to demonstrate that you have initiative and that you know when and how to use it within the working environment. You will also be required to work on your own at times and be able to support your Account Manager with a ‘can do’ attitude.
