National Stress Awareness Day

Remember you are important. Here are a few tips on national stress awareness day:

  • Get organised. Organise yourself and your workloads at the beginning of each day and at the beginning of each working week to focus on urgent and non-urgent tasks and priorities. Starting each day focused and positive sets the tone for the week to follow. Use Click Up, diary entries, trello or other software which works for you.
  • Plan ahead. Make sure you start work on time each day to plan ahead. Planning and prioritising your campaigns and tasks in schedules do wonders for productivity and decluttering the mind. If certain routine tasks are causing distress and causing negative emotions, reach out! Delegating tasks or asking members of the team for assistance helps improve team spirit and improves communication across working teams.
  • Don’t hoard. Clear any clutter off your desk at the end of each day and try to not be a hoarder. Bin or recycle it! Make sure dirty cups are washed, left over snacks are removed and away from your desk.
  • Keep only what you need. File work files electronically and only keep what you need. Have the confidence to bin the rest – let it go!
  • Seize the moment. Capture ideas and make any notes on your device and email to yourself so that you don’t forget and can use the creativity for the next day.
